JLA or the Justice League of America has been a great comic as well as a TV series. We know almost all the heroes as well as villains like the back of our hands; but, young justice league is something new. We have seen some flashes of it in the Teen Titans, but being a member of Young Justice takes some doing. The series overall has garnered some positive response due to fact that it was able to catch the imagination of the teenage viewers as well as adults. The storyline never has been predictable due to surprise package that the creators have put in time and again. They also have been able to combine action along with emotions and back stories of each and every character in the league.
In the show, we see the Red Tornado taking the advantage from the situation prevailing at the home base of the young justice, and drive them out of it. The revelation of the fact that Red Arrow was the mole they were looking for and the Red Arrow in their team is a clone makes the kids feel a bit uncomfortable. Though, they have resolved to get the real Red Arrow back into their team, but it seems a very daunting task for them. With the elder’s (JLA members) mind controlled and lots of other problems, the kids had their work cut out. But, they manage to maneuver efficiently from all the trouble by the end of the episode. They knew the risk of confronting the elders head on; hence they waited till the inevitable; hence, paving the way for a good but predictable climax. It is good to see that the creators have left a gap for the storyline to continue in the next season.
The second season kicks off soon, and is expected to feature many plots and subplots from the previous season. Overall, the series was excellent with some little and forgivable letdowns. You can’t expect a fool-proof show; can you? Waiting for the next season is surely going to be tough; but it is a thing that is not in our hands.
